It’s mid January and there’s a tornado warning for South Los Angeles.
The fun part is that now when you tell people “I live in California” and they inevitably retort by telling you how there’s deadly earthquakes, mudslides and angry grizzly bears there, they can now add tornados in the middle of the 2nd largest city in the United States.
Rain is depressing, specially when your used to the sun shining 360 days of the year so I’ll continue with the bad news.
As reported by LA TACO, the founder of Taco Bell, Glen Bell passed away today in his Rancho Sante Fe home. Mr. Bell started slanging 19 cent tacos out his taco hut before it grew to a vast empire incorporating over 5,000 locations. Sad stuff. In other Taco Bell related news, the 5-Layer Burrito is both a hearty and a cost-concious investment at only 89 cents, go get one in memory of Mr. Bell.
Ninjafest was fun, TAO was memorable and driving on Cahuenga Blvd on a Friday night is a nightmare.
Time for some…..
